Rug Hooking News
Please join us every Wednesday for rug hooking. We have a great group of hookers who are looking forward to meeting you. All skill levels are welcome. We meet on a drop-in basis so you can stop in any time that's convenient for you. We have lots of fun and everyone is willing to share ideas, tips, and any tricks they've learned. Get back to your hooking and finish up a project, make a Christmas present, or start a new project.
We carry a wide variety of hand-dyed wools, bolt wool, stash builders and paisley pieces. We offer primitive and fine cut linen as well as Hartman and Moshimer hooks, the Acadian Rug Frame, and drawn patterns on linen. Custom pattern ideas are always welcome and we'll be happy to draw/transfer them to linen for you.
Cutters are available for customer use.
BEGINNING CLASSES: Have you always wanted to learn to hook beautiful rugs, purses, or ? Please call 207.739.2664 and sign up for a one-on-one class. Learn the basics in a two-hour session. You will have use of loaner frame with gripper strips so you can practice at home.
Cost for class $30, including pattern on linen, wool extra.
